Am G E Help me, I'm stuck in a web. Gotta get out before I'm dead.
Help me, I'm stuck in
a web. Gotta get out before I'm dead.
I was flying
peacefully, when suddenly I was snagged.
The Spider is coming
near. I do care and I do fear. I don't want to die.
I don't want to
die. I don't want to die.
Help me, I'm stuck in
a web. Gotta get out before I'm dead.
Help me, I'm stuck in
a web. Gotta get out before I'm dead.
I was flying
peacefully, when suddenly I was snagged.
She raises her fangs
towards me. Venom drips so
teasingly. I don't want to die.
I don't want to
die. So I try to
D push her back with my free hand. She looks at me and swats my head.
C A mocking glance. It knocks me out for a moment 'til I shout,
D "There's no way I'll be wrapped tight
without me putting up a fight.
C "There's no way I'll be sucked dry,
another victim that's gone by."
D A sacrifice, could that be right? Oh, woh is me and my plight.
C How did I find this sticky mess. I don't want to end up like the rest.
D It's useless now, I'm completely bound. She has me wrapped all way around.
C One quick bite. One swift inject. One
sharp pain. One slow
E death.
Help me, I'm stuck in
a web. Gotta get out before I'm dead.
E
D E Sitting here in suspended animation.
E D A
E The Spider's venom has paralyzed me.
I can't move a leg or
an antennae.
I stare through eyes
which cannot close.
I'm awake though and
know I am trapped
inside a silken
casket made for me.
The Spider waits so
patiently above me.
She knows I cannot go anywhere.
My Mind begins to
wander in and out.
The last sense of
freedom that I have.
I find my self
looking through the Spiders eyes.
I find my self
thinking with her Mind.
I find my self
feeling compassion for my prey.
I find my self
thanking Life for me.
I find my self
understanding the Balance which occurs
between the predator
and the prey.
I find my self
knowing that the Web in which I'm caught
is a symbol of the Web of Life.
