E  F# G  F#     Life is good, Life is great, I wanna tell you.

E  F# G  A      She's given us everything we'll ever need:

E  F# G  F#    A beautiful home, the moon and the sunlight,

E  F# G  A      fertile soil with water and plenty of trees.

E       G  F#    Furry happy critters of every kind.

E       F# G     Fragrant healing herbs and the fruity vine.

E       G  F#    People to Love for every boy and girl in the.

B                    world.

B  C   G  F#   Why would we want anymore?

Man is good, man is great, this they will tell you.

He's given us everything we'll ever need:

Plenty of stuff to do for the good folk,

money and junk to satisfy greed.

Movie stars, smokey bars, the world wide web.

Disneyland, Chevy vans, my waterbed.

Magazines and diamond rings for every woman in the world.

What else would we ever need?

My job is good, my job is great, or so they tell me.

Making sure the mainframe stays on line:

We're assembling products to meet the demand of

people who seem to only waste time.

Pac man, Pokemon, computer chips.

Make up, fake cups for plastic tits.

Magizines and beauty queens for every man in the world.

What else would we ever need?

This city's good, this city's great, or so I've heard.

Consumanator culture which won't be beat:

Midnight marketplace will sell anything to a

high class player who is up on Wall Street.

Stocks and bonds can't go wrong when you play the game.

Dow Jones skull and bones, it's all the same.

The good life, the great life for every fool in the world.

What else would we ever need?

Life is good.  Life is great we all agree

There ain't no other place that I wanna be.

Whatever the reason we are all here

often I wonder, which leads me to fear:

what's gonna happen when we all want it all,

pavin' our way to the new super mall?

Where ever I go it all seems the same.?

B  C   G  F#      Why would we want this?

B  C   G  F#      How could we want this?

B  C   G  F#      Do we really want this anymore?
