G C G Hell no, we won’t go! We’re never gonna go away.

G D You can’t make us leave or make us go your way.

G C G We were born with the same drive so we’ll always say,

G D G “Hell no, we won’t go! We are here to stay.”

D C Simon Smith met his man, his true love, at an airport in south Spain. 

D Am They both were runnin’ late and missed their plane that day. 

D C They talked a while and realized they’re from the same quaint place:

D Am A county in a state that hates gays.

C D But they’re going back to say,

G C G “Hell no, we won’t go! We’re never gonna go away.

G D “You can’t make us leave or make us go your way.

G C G “We were born with the same drive so we’ll always say,

G D G “’Hell no, we won’t go! We are here to stay.’”

D C It’s easier if you’re a woman to find a woman to love.

D Am Since women have always loved naturally.

D C But women fear men more than men fear other men. 

D Am Even women have never been free. 

C D So they stand up and say,

G C G “Hell no, we won’t go! We’re never gonna go away.

G D “You can’t make us leave or make us go your way.

G C G “We were born with the same drive so we’ll always say,

G D G “’Hell no, we won’t go! We are here to stay.’”

D Am Or a lowly pathogen does us in?
