14) A New Perception                  13) True Love

His Thought's ring out, 'I am the light and the nothing you can't see.'
His voice sings loud, 'I am the life and all things come from me.
'Look in my eyes to see yourself, to see the rising sun.
'Become my mind to free yourself, to be the Shining One.

                                                                                    Malcolm Mohil
                                                                                    "Sunlife"

Malcolm and Becky awoke to the sound of birds greeting the dawn. They basked in the light of their love, enjoying the fulfillment they were feeling.

"Do you believe in God, Malcolm? You alluded to it a bit, but you've never said what your beliefs in God are."

"I believe in my concept of God. The word 'God' is weird because of all the connotations it brings. But, I like the word. I use it to describe a creative power.

"I've been fascinated in spirituality for a long time. My parents weren't religious. I was jealous of my friends who were involved in the church, though. They had a life I couldn’t understand. They would talk about Heaven and Jesus and God's love and then say I was going to Hell if I didn't believe. I thought it was weird, but part of me was scared I was a sinner.

"When I was old enough to explore on my own, I began to examine different religions, trying to find an explanation I could accept. I studied Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism and others, but none seemed completely satisfying. They all had some good points, but their dogmas and view they were the one and only true path to God turned me off.

"I discovered religions have themes which are common amongst them. They might describe them differently, but beyond the words, the concepts were the same.

"The biggest similarity is there's a God or creator of everything. Even science says there was a beginning to Universe. 'The Big Bang,' so they say.

"A savior's also similar. There's somebody who shows humans how to be righteous or divine.

"Then, of course, you have the social morals important for a stable society. They all seem to agree people should behave a certain way.

"Instead of believing one religion, I've tried to be open minded and study as much as I could. My interest in science is based on the same yearning to discover Universe. After all, science is sort of a religion with its theories and closed-minded scientists.

"So, I've developed a view of reality encompassing all I've learned so far. Maybe it’s unique to me, my own personalized religion, but it makes sense to me, at least in my limited understanding of Universe."

Becky waited, wondering if he was going to continue. Eventually she asked, "Well, what is it?"

"Are you sure you want to know? It's kind of like my theory on resonance. In fact, it's a part of it. But, it’s even more far out. Though, it might make resonance seem more comprehensible if I tell it to you."

"I want to hear it regardless. I respect your views. Even your theory on resonance has given me a perspective on things that’s improved my view. So please, tell me."

Malcolm sat up to look at her. He gave her a kiss and proceeded to explain his theory on God.

"In the beginning was the Thought of God," he began. "Once, there was no thing but God, the Unknown Emptiness, who's the Potential of Everything. There was no time either, no past, no future, only the moment Now. One moment, God thought 'Who am I?' because God wanted to know who God was. It desired definition. It desired to resonate, connect and share information with Universe, which at this time was only the Unknown Emptiness, which was itself. God wanted to discover itself because it has love. God's thought resonated out of God into the Unknown Emptiness, which became a reflection of God. This was what science calls 'The Big Bang.'

“Love is the Universal Constant. It’s what created everything and is what keeps everything together. Without love, Universe couldn't exist. Love. Love. Love. Love is the desire to resonate with Universe.

"What did I just say, Becky"

“Love is the desire to resonate with Universe?"

"Yes. I wanted to make sure you're paying attention, because that’s an important point.

"This thought of love, the desire to resonate with Universe, resonated throughout Universe. It created galaxies, Sun, Earth, all life, me, and you. It is Universe, who is God who is resonating love because God wants to discover itself.

"All of life resonates with God. The reason I love is because God loves. The reason I want to know 'Who am I?' is because God wants to know 'Who am I?'

"I am created in the image of God who is love, this desire to resonate with Universe. Therefore, I am love because God is resonating love, the desire to discover who we are. Everybody has so much love, this desire to resonate and connect with Universe. By loving, we connect. By connecting, we develop bonds. By developing bonds, we learn from one another. By learning, we gain wisdom. By gaining wisdom, we know truth. By knowing truth, we develop a sense of who we are.

"We can say, 'I am who I am because I love. I love because I am resonating with God, who is love, this desire to resonate Universe.’

"This whole intention is because God wants to know who God is. God wants us to explore and gain wisdom from the whole Universe, which is God. This is evolution and is our purpose for being alive.

"God is resonating with life, and life resonates with God. Without God, there is no life. Without life, God is meaningless because God has no basis to define God’s self."

"That reminds me of what Jesus said, the Kingdom of Heaven resided in him. That he was the light and the way. Maybe he was implying his connection to God was imperative to being alive. That God can't exist without someone to manifest in," Becky surmised.

"That could be. All myths are a resonance of Truth. The interpretations of the Truth is subjective and often times distorted to fit 'the people who live in fear's' perception of reality. Unfortunately, the church distorts Truth because they're scared. They want to be the ones in power so they took our power away by telling us we must live in fear as well.

"Thus judgment, damnation and hell are a resonant response of the church's fears. They limbically regulate followers into obedience. They insist we must go to their church to be forgiven for our sins, when in truth we can forgive ourselves by releasing the energy tying the guilt to our brain.

"This exists because God gave us all free will. Through this fearful dream we also are expressing love, the desire to resonate with life. It may not be beneficial, but it's still how some have chosen to live, love, learn and evolve.

"God isn’t judgmental. God and love are amoral. Only our perceptions are dualistic. We're who determines what's good or bad through our free will. This dualistic view of reality is how our society defines itself.

"Everything we do is done to connect with life and thus learn. The difference between various actions is the repercussions of the act. Every action has its reaction. Karma is a resonant response of this. The idea of, 'an eye for an eye', or sin, is a resonant response of this. This is resonance.

"The Truth, in my eyes, is God's gift to us is a resonant response of love, of God’s desire to answer, 'Who am I?'  We all love because we all desire to resonate with life. We express our love through music, dance, art, poetry, sharing, laughing, crying, sexing, eating, doing drugs, and whatever connects us with reality. Even violent activities are love because it's how someone resonates with life. We create our own heaven or hell which is a dualistic subjective judgment based on our thoughts and actions.

"God created us in his image, which is love. We're a resonant response of God. When we resonate with God by being love, we realize we're connected to God. If we're connected to God through resonation, we are God. When this becomes our reality, the Kingdom of Heaven opens its doors to us and we become that Kingdom by resonating with it. When we resonate with it we become all that the Kingdom of Heaven has to offer us. Since the Kingdom of Heaven is Universe, we can know Universe by resonating with it.

"We have the ability to create, not just through our physical toils; that is, thoughts resonating through body causing body to respond and create something - but through our Universal bodies; that is, thoughts resonating out into Universe causing Universe to mould to those thoughts to give us what we desire.

"Seek and ye shall find, ask and it shall be give, knock and the doors will be open, and love comes pouring forth. Thus, we experience synchronicities, those little things beyond coincidence. Everything happens for a reason because we’re connected to the Flow. We are resonating. We are love."

As Malcolm was speaking his truth, he felt his chest burning with love. He had so mush passion behind his beliefs, he was sweating. Becky felt the spark, too, as she attempted to comprehend what she heard.

There was silence in the room as both were thinking about his concepts.

"Again, I'm speechless. If I understood you right, you've stated something I’ve been trying to grasp since I left the church. That is, God created the universe, including me, and the love I feel is God expressing through me because God wants to discover herself. When I’m loving, I’m being God and discovering myself in the process. That’s such a simple and beautiful concept. Thank you for sharing it with me, my love."

With that, they decided to be God incarnate in a human body and make love to each other as if they were loving God. With utmost attention, affection and compassion they touched one another, gently caressing each other's bare skin. Becky laid on top of Malcolm, with her chest directly above his. They both felt the burning love within their chests intensify. They looked into each other’s eyes, peering deep into each other's soul.

"What do you feel, my darling?" Malcolm asked her.

"I feel about ready to explode. I feel as if I am going to be swallowed by the desire to be one with you. I feel like I've waited my entire life for this to happen, like I've been holding on to love, instead of letting it flow. I feel as if the dam's about to burst and what I've been yearning to touch and become is ready to rush forth. It feels like magic."

She began to cry. They were tears of reunion. She felt like she did when she was a little girl. She felt like she was once again with the God she had abandoned many years before. She looked at Malcolm in awe. She believed she was staring into the eyes of God, the love she was feeling was that strong.

            "Who are you?" she asked.

"I am your reflection. You can only see what you know, what you are. You only love what you connect with. When you connect, you become a part of what you're loving. You become one with it.

"All that you’re feeling, I’m feeling too. We’ve connected on a level neither of us has acknowledged before. We’re connecting by being pure love. That is God, the creative force of Universe. We are being God, the creative force. We've opened a part of us up that allows for love to flow more purely than the sexual energy we've shared before. By engaging in the creative act and acknowledging the creative energy, we've become conscious of God's love. We’re more aware, more compassionate and more alive.

“We're resonating with each other. Sharing the information of ourselves through an invisible bond. That bond is love. We are loving a loving God.

"Imagine feeling like this all the time, for every person, for everything in Universe. I believe that to be humanity’s destiny. I believe that to be what Jesus and all the mystics have attempted to describe, to love every single atom that exists. We'll have the realization of collective unity based on the understanding we’re connected. We'll no longer fear because we’ll be free from the limitations of our body. We’ll no longer judge because we’ll know we’re all a part of each other. We’ll no longer be dualistic. Nothing is good or bad, positive or negative, male or female. Everything is one and we’ll live our lives harmoniously with Earth.

"Imagine living in a society where everyone understands love, this desire to resonate with life. It would be a society living in harmony because we’d know everything's connected. All our actions would express this desire to strengthen the bonds connecting us. Our actions would be respectful of one another since we’d realize Universe is our body. We would truly understand the Golden Rule 'do unto others as you would have done unto yourself' because we’d know others aren't separate from but are a part of us.

"Resonate this imagination out into our universal body because through internal imaging emerges the external manifestation of that blue print. The seed has been planted already and by resonating our desire to be part of it we’ll grow with this ideal society."

They each took a deep breath and closed their eyes to fully feel the love they were sharing. They began to imagine the implications of realizing this love at all times. They remembered their previous discussion of developing the reasoning neocortex brain in order to control the destructive emotions of the limbic brain. They expanded upon that dream with what they understood about resonance, love and God.
